Understanding Sensory Behaviours in children with Down syndrome and autism
Next Webinar Session: Understanding Gestalt Language Processing

For parents and carers of children with Down syndrome .

Thursday 30th January at 8pm

Led by Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist Jenn Warwick

GLP refers to a style of language learning where children learn language through memorised chunks rather than single words.

GLP has attracted a lot of attention in the field of speech and language therapy. GLP is often seen in Autistic children.

Knowing whether your child is a GLP learner and having access to key strategies to support them in language learning is really important for parents.

This practical session will equip parents with what GLP is, the stages children go through and some practical ideas on how to support language development if your child is a Gestalt language processor.

Suitable for children with Down syndrome and autism or if autism is suspected
Appropriate for any age child that parents feel may be at that stage.

Q&A Opportunity.
