For parents and carers of children with a Dual Diagnosis of Down syndrome and Autism.
This session will provide parents with strategies around understanding their child's behaviour.
It will focus on frameworks for understanding the function of behaviours, what are meltdowns and shutdowns and how to try to prevent these.
Led by Clinical Psychologist Dr Rachael McCarthy and Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist Jenn Warwick
